Susan J. Hardin Purvis

Susan J. Hardin Purvis, 78, widow of Jerrel Dean Purvis, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 19, 1948 to the late Cecil and Gertie Gullette Hardin. Susan worked for Warner Hines as the Property Manager for over 25 years. She loved genealogy, music (especially Elvis), fishing with her dad and her son, cooking, and the beach and the ocean. Among the things she loved most were spending time with her grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her son, Ronald "Ron" Purvis (Pamela); her brother, Danny C. Hardin; and her grandchildren, Luke Purvis, Christopher Purvis, and Gretchen Purvis.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roger E. Hardin.

Celebration of Susan's life will be held from 2:00pm until 6:00pm on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
