Thomas Dunaway III

Thomas Dunaway III, 76, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026. A native of Frankfort, he was born on May 1, 1950 to the late Thomas and Alma King Dunaway Jr. Thomas worked at Kroger and was a Veteran of the US Army.

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Tonya Dunaway-Bryant; his sons, Doug Dunaway (Terrie) and Jason Dunaway. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Donnie Bryant.

Thomas will be greatly missed by his friends and family as well as his fur babies, Maggie and Rooster.

Services will be planned at a later date.
