William Dean Broyles

William Dean (Bill) Broyles, 72, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026. A native of Frankfort, Bill was born on November 3, 1953 to the late James and Beatrice (Rogers) Broyles.

Prior to his retirement, Bill was a self-employed IT specialist. He was an avid reader and a lifelong fan of University of Kentucky (UK) sports, especially basketball.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Lucy Broyles; his loving partner, April Rogers; his sisters, Teresa Ellis (Jack) and Kim Kain; his nephews, Michael Sorg (Stephanie Peniston), Scott Broyles (Nicole), Alex Kain (Shelbi) and Lucas Williams (Brenna); and best friend, George Rogers (Sherry).

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Broyles.
