A.C. Brewer

Frankfort – A.C. Brewer, our beloved father, 86, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 27, 2018. He was a native of Frankfort, KY to the late Robert B. and Ivory Hutcherson Brewer on April 10, 1932. He retired from the State and City of Frankfort where he served as an animal control officer. He was also a member of Camp Pleasant Baptist Church. He is survived by his two daughters, Lana Rose and Lori Winters Johnson, and one son Davey (Linda) Brewer; his sisters, Anna Adcock and Pearl Grimes; his brothers, James Brewer, Bailey Brewer, and Danny Brewer; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Doris Ray Grider Brewer; daughters, Paula Brewer Cook, and Darla Joy Brewer; 3 brothers, Turner, and infants Robert Beckham and Paul C. Brewer; and two sisters, Clara Moore and Violet Trussell. Graveside service will be held 10:00am Monday, October 1, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dan Peters will officiate. Serving as casketbearers will be Corey Brewer, Adam Rose, David Rose, Alex Winters, Wesley Cook, and Tyler Cook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
