Alan D. Falvey

Obituary Alan D. Falvey of Sebastian, Florida and the husband of Kay Falvey, died Saturday, October 20, 2012. He was born June 15, 1952 in Manchester, England. He was a former resident of Richmond and Lexington, Kentucky. Alan retired five years ago from Ashland Oil, Inc., Lexington, Kentucky and went on to start a home inspection business and was the owner/operator of Property Inspections Plus. Alan moved to Sebastian, Florida in 2010. It was there that he met his wife Kay. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Alan was diagnosed in January 2012 with Mucosal Melanoma. He gave it a brave and valiant fight but the Lord took him home surrounded by his beloved Family. In addition his wife Kay, Alan is survived by his son, Justin Alan Falvey and his daughter, Jessica Alane Falvey, both currently residing in Sebastian, Forida and formerly of Lexington, Kentucky; his twin brother, Dennis Falvey of Binghamton, New York; his mother, Mavis Falvey-Nelson of Vero Beach, Florida; his granddaughter, Makala Falvey; and his sister in laws, nieces and nephews. Alan was preceded in death by his Dad, Robert D. Falvey in 2007; and his brother, Jerry Falvey. Funeral Information A Celebration of Alan's Life will be 4:30 pm, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, 601 E. Brannon Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky. A Gathering of Family of Friends and Reception will follow till 8:00 pm.
