Obituary Alfred Vernon Kayse, Jr., 86, of Lexington, was born to Alfred Vernon Kayse Sr. and Mary Betty Kayse Gaines on September 18, 1923. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ada Kayse; his sister, Freda (Joyce) Cruse; two children, James (Jan) Kayse and Terri (Mark) Topor; two grandchildren, James C. Kayse and Holly Topor; two great grandchildren, Jack Henry Kayse and Taylor Madison Kayse. He was preceded in death by sisters; Karree House and Esther Fleming. He also has several close nephews and nieces and their children. Alfred was a World War II Army Veteran serving his Country Proudly in the Pacific from 1941 to 1945. He retired from the V.A. Hospital after 37 years of employment. He loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and was a member of American Legion. Funeral Information Visitation will be 11am-1:30pm, Wednesday, July 14, at Clark Legacy Center. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
