Anna Katharine Grupe

Lexington, KY Anna Katharine Grupe, 57, died October, 9, 2016. She is survived by her husband Dale Grupe; daughter Erin Grace Grupe; sons Ryan Joseph Grupe and Luke Charles Grupe; sisters Angela (Cole) Smith and Jeanne (Mike) Anderson; brothers John (Richard Lankston) Kirk and Daniel (Sherri) Kirk and father Harry R. (Nanetta) Kirk. She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth (Gonyer) Kirk. Kathy enjoyed her vocation as a para educator and volleyball coach. She served the volleyball community for the past 22 years in many different positions. She also loved working with children with disabilities. In quiet times, she liked to travel to the beach with her family and read historical fiction novels. Kathy was a woman of many loves, but none were more important to her than Dale and the children. It has been said, that 'Kathy was loved alot, by alot of people'. Funeral Information Burial will take place at The Air Force Academy Cemetery on November 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM.
