Audra Faye Collins, 82, widow of George Collins, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. She was born in East Point, KY on March 1, 1936 to the late Samuel and Alka Johnson Auxier. She was co-owner and broker for Parke-Collins Realty. Audra graduated from Paintsville High School and Mayo Vocational School. She was a realtor for over 40 years.
Audra had a host of friends and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, loved to shop, and spending time with her grandchildren. Some of the very best times of her life were traveling with her husband and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Myers, Louisville, and Georgene Suffridge, Louisville; her brother, Randy (Mavis) Auxier; her sister, Jacqueline (Bob) Beckett; her grandchildren, Laura Myers, Rick (Amber) Myers; and Calla and Kathryn Suffridge; her five great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband of 62 years; she was preceded in death by her sisters, Gertrude Selmeyer, Lona Price, and Diane Daniels; and her grandchild, Maxwell Suffridge.
Gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
