Barry O'Dell "Dell" Click

Barry O’Dell "Dell" Click, 71, of Lexington, KY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2026, from natural causes at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. He leaves behind an incredible legacy of love, laughter, and quiet kindness.

He was born in Portsmouth, OH on February 25, 1955, a son of the late William E. Click and Edith Click.

Barry (Dell) is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Vickie Click; two daughters, Jennifer (Brad) Slone of Gulf Breeze, FL and Sarah (Eric) Simmons of Lexington, KY; a bonus daughter Nicole (Cory) Brown of South Shore, KY; five grandchildren, Grayson and Shelby Slone, Aidan Simmons, and Gabi and Natalie Brown; two sisters, Marolyn Click Plummer and Debra Click Botting, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Click; mother, Edith Click; two brothers, William Ronnie Click, Kenneth Lonnie Click and one sister Carolyn Click Bloomfield.

He retired from the Pipefitters Local 577 and Sunoco Chemical in Haverhill, OH. He was a member of Sunshine Church in South Shore, KY and recently Southland Christian Church in Lexington, KY. He was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed bible study, coloring and gardening.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to donate to Mental Health America of Kentucky.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5pm-7pm Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center - Brannon Crossing followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7pm. In addition, there will be a Celebration of Life at Sunshine Community Church Thursday July 16, 2026  from 5pm to 7pm in the fellowship hall with Jeff Lambert officiating. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
