Beckham Purvis

Beckham Purvis, 76, passed away, Tuesday January 8, 2019. The husband of Jeraldine Mason Purvis, Beckham was born December 30, 1942 to the late Beckham and Frances Whitaker Purvis in Midway, KY. Beckham was a retired mechanic at Rand McNally in Versailles. He was also a farmer and a member of Midway Baptist Church. Beckham is survived by three sons, David Purvis, Lexington, Dr. James Randall, Lexington, and John Russell Robinson Lawrenceburg; a sister Linda Mitchell, Midway, grandchildren, Morgan Richie, Amanda Barnett, Chasity Robinson, Andrew Robinson and six great grandchildren. Beckham is preceded in death by a daughter Rebecca Purvis, sister's Martha Ann Sacra, Betty Burrows and a brother James Purvis. Services will be held 11:00am Friday January 11, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Versailles. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Andrew Robinson, Gary Sacra, Steven Richie, Brad Barnett, Tom Watts and Danny Mason. Visitation will be held 5:00pm-7:00pm Thursday January 10, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home.
