Benjamin David Moliterno
Aug 21, 1996 — Oct 1, 2026
Benjamin David Moliterno died unexpectedly on October 1, 2026 at the age of 30. He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and received an engineering degree from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree from the University of Colorado. He worked as a software engineer at Jabil in Florence, KY. Ben was an emphatic lover of life and will be remembered by friends and family for his bellowing deep laugh and fantastic bear hugs.
Among Ben’s passions were eccentric music and outdoor adventure. During college years he was an electronic music disc jockey at local events, and he went on to attend and put together music gigs in the Cincinnati area where he lived. Ben loved to be outdoors and to hike. Even at a young age he had traveled around the United States, Canada, and to several European countries exploring the lands and lifestyle of people. He also enjoyed scuba diving and made many trips to the Caribbean and to Australia as an underwater hiker.
Perhaps Ben’s greatest attribute was his ability to be a friend. His gentle personality and compassion left a mark on nearly everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and even more by his parents, David and Judith Moliterno of Lancaster, KY, and by his brother and best friend, Nathan Moliterno of Dayton, OH.
Viewing and reception are planned for Friday, October 9, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center from 4-7pm all are welcome to attend. A celebration of life event will be held at a later date.
