Billie Lee Bowling Columbia, 87, died Saturday August 22 2015. She was born on May 17, 1928 to the late Bryan and Pearl Mason Bowling in Burdine, KY. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Billie Columbia, daughter, Janie (Sue Rogers) Columbia, daughter in law, Rebecca Columbia, sisters, Deana (Spencer) Craig, of Midway, Helen Schy, of Indiana, grandchildren, Dusty Embury, Heather Kinney, Sarah McClure, great grandchildren, Rinnah, Alden, Lily Cate, Laurel, Amy Madeline, Merrick, several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Pippy. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Ann Columbia, son, Darrell Eugene Columbia, sisters, Joanne Bowling, Fern Whisman, Margaret Santiago, and brother Jimmy Bowling.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 AM at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Versailles by Rev. Bill McDonald. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pall bearers will be Michael Embury, Will Kinney, Matt Kragel, Don Bowling, Jason Hom and Deen Craig. Honorary pall bearers are Donald Lee Columbia, Spencer Craig, Alden Kinney, Merrick McClure, Todd Craig, Bob Godby and Rodney "Bull" Brooks.
