Billy Carroll Duff
Sep 24, 1926 — Mar 14, 2017
Lexington, KY
Billy Carroll Duff, 90, died March 14, 2017. He is survived by his wife JoAnn (Robinson) Duff; daughter Jamie (Larry) Crouch; son William (Lela) Duff; grandchildren Adam (Danielle) Duff, Emily (Shane) Burden and Layne Crouch and great grandchild Reese Burden. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ethel (Hedges) Duff.
Billy was a proud veteran of WWII, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He retired from GTE after several decades of faithful service. In his younger years, he and JoAnn liked to get on a bus and travel the backroads of America seeing the sights. Billy also enjoyed a round of golf with his friends. For relaxation, he enjoyed working in his wood shop making furniture. Billy was a member at South Elkhorn Christian Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Of everything he did and enjoyed, nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchild.
