Brenda Lavean Harper

LEXINGTON- Brenda Fitzpatrick Harper, 64, wife of Charles R. Harper, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky to the late David C. and Opal Ree Newman Fitzpatrick on June 21, 1955. Mrs. Harper was a homemaker and manager for Heavenly Ham for 27 years. In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by her son, Charles Kevin Harper, Lexington; grandsons, Zachary Harper, Nicholasville and Brayden Harper, Lexington; sisters, Bonnie (Steve) Roy, Carlisle, Janice Fitzpatrick, TN, Vickie (Ray) Akers, Nicholasville and Sandy (Gregg) Steward, Nicholasville; brothers, Larry “Peanut” Fitzpatrick, Nicholasville, Wendell Fitzpatrick, Paris and David Fitzpatrick, Lexington. She is preceded in death by her brother, Roger Fitzpatrick. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 PM with Shell Mullins and Gregg Steward officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
