Obituary
Byrnes C. Fairchild, 82, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012. He was born on October 26, 1929 in Pike County to the late Joseph and Ethel Williams Fairchild. He served with the US Air Force during the Korean War, retired from the USAF as a Major, and was a retired civil engineer for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Fairchild; two daughters, Kathy Ryan, of Missouri, and Susan (David) Adkins, of Lexington; one son, Steven Fairchild, of Ohio; three grandchildren, Christine Serafini, of Bowling Green, Rebecca Ryan, of Missouri, and Daniel (Kelly) Ryan, of Illinois; two great granddaughters, Abby and Clare; one sister, Janet Wallen, of Jonesville; his brother, William (Charlene) Fairchild, of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Sarah (Jerry) Paul; brother-in-law, Glenn (Joyce) East; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Funeral service will be 12pm Monday, July30, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. with Dr. Chuck Queen officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers are Daniel Ryan, Glenn East, Jr., Ethan Paul, Jeremy Paul, David Adkins, and Tim Ryan. Visitation will be 2-6pm Sunday at the funeral home.
