Carl M. Gross, Jr., 57, husband of Barbara McConnell Gross, died Friday, August 1, 2014 at his residence in Garrard County. He was born in Canton, Ohio, son of Claudia Murphy Gross of Paris and the late Carl Milton Gross, Sr. He was an Industrial Electrician with McKecknie Vehicle Componets in Nicholasville and he had served in the U.S. Army. Surviving besides his wife and mother are his two daughters; Carla Martin and her fianc, Mike Craig of Sharpsburg and Martha [ Cliff ] Walter of Lexington, his sister; Nancy [ Larry ] Jones. his two brothers; Layton Gross and Wayne Gross all of Paris, and his seven grandchildren.
