Charlie "Tige" Sutherland

Versailles Charlie “Tige” Sutherland, 94, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019. The widower of Elizabeth Ann Sutherland, Tige was born December 28, 1925 to the late Charlie and Lillian Mae Wright Sutherland. He was an Army veteran, former member of Glen’s Creek Baptist Church, and a Mason with Landmark Lodge #41 in Versailles. Tige is survived by his sister, Margaret Rice of Versailles. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lillian Sutherland. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Versailles Cemetery, with Pastor Mickey Hyder officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations are requested to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
