Clara White Marcum

Clara White Marcum, 97, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018. The widow of William Henry Marcum, she was born November 15, 1920 to the late Jim and Lizzie Hutchens White in Irvine, Kentucky. Clara was a member of Frankfort First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her daughter, Irene (Donald) Hansel, Frankfort; sons, Charles “Chuck” (Linda) Marcum, Frankfort and Leroy (Shirley) Marcum, Frankfort; 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, William, and parents, Clara was preceded in death by daughters, Mary Catherine Marcum and Barbara Barbee; sister, Barbara Hutchens; brothers, Cecil White, Bill White, and Curt White; and grandson, Roy Steven Marcum. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00a, Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill in Versailles with Pastor Mike Justice officiating. A 12:00p Graveside Service will follow at Turpin Cemetery in Winston, Kentucky. Pallbearers include James Marcum, Jerry Marcum, Travis Devers, Jordan Devers, Don Hansel, and Bobby Hansel. Visitation will be from 6:00p-8:00p, Tuesday, August 28, 2018.
