Clifford Adkins

Lexington, KY Clifford Adkins, 86, died April 24, 2017. He is survived by his daughter Janice (Ron) Adkins Barron; 5 brothers and 6 sisters; grandchildren Kenneth (Hylarii) Adkins II, Karen (Mike) Korb, Sherri Wells, Philip (Tanya) Breeze, Rachal Breeze and Daniel Kerns, which include his caretakers Jon Hodge, Devin Hodge and Cole Madden and great-great grandson Isaiah Hodge. He is preceded in death by his parents Autie and Clara (Trimble) Adkins; daughter Kathy A. Kerns; son Kenneth W. Adkins and great grandson Robert Thomas Newton. Clifford who married Maxine (Johnson) Adkins August 31, 1952, retired after 49 years in the thoroughbred industry from Hamburg Place Farm. In his off time, he loved to fish and spend time in the outdoors. He was a devoted husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral Information Visitation and service will be at 1PM, Sautrday, May 6, 2017 at Southfort Church on Steele Branch Road, Malone, KY
