Darrell Henry Martin

Obituary Darrell Henry Martin, 65, of Lexington, Kentucky and loving husband of Loretta Steff Martin, died Sunday, July 24, 2011. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Claude and Ethel Fugate Martin. Darrell was a retired painter and truck driver who enjoyed retirement, because it gave him lots of time to serve others and to care and develop a special relationship with his great granddaughter, Cheyenne Cave. In addition to his wife and great granddaughter, he is survived by his daughter, Crystal Lee Reeves; granddaughters, Nicole Lee Reeves (Cesar) Alanis, and Heather Lynn Reeves (Zachary) Bugg; five other great grandchildren, Rachael Carter, Troy Bugg, Steven Bugg, Chole Alanis and Enrique Alanis; mother-in-law, Arnetta Steff; sisters, Betty Mitchell and Barbara Sue (Jim) Davis; special nephews, Darrell Henry Oiler, James Carl and niece Sonia Allen; numerous other nieces and nephews; special friends, Deb and Mike Rouser and their daughter Annie, David Bach; Carlene and Donald Nelson and their son, Shane; Susan Lee, and many other caring friends. Darrell was also preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Hatton, brother, Bobby Lee Martin and son-in-law, Henry Lewis Reeves. Funeral Information A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 5-8pm, Friday, July 29 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, with a time of sharing at 7pm.
