Dean Crandall Ostrander

Nicholasville, KY Dean C. Ostrander, 89, died July 22, 2014. He is survived by his wife Carol Carter Ostrander; daughters Leslie Blanscett and Tracy (Andreas) Crawford; son Kent (Joyce) Ostrander; grandchildren Eric, Grant (Kendall) and Kyle Ostrander and Anna (Jeff) Alliston; great grandchildren Hillary, Calloway and Ryder. He is preceded in death by his parents Ward and Bernice (Pendle) Ostrander. Dean was a general manager of several manufacturing plants around the country, but most loved his roll in quasi retirement as a gentleman farmer. He was a great father and a dutiful provider for his wife. His family vacations to Florida generated many memories that will last for years. Dean was a natural conversationalist, and made friends easily. The family is resting in the belief, that he is now home with his heavenly Father. Funeral Information Pending
