Diora W. Sobon

She was born in Letcher County to the late Astor and Nancy Whitaker on October 10, 1939. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and worked as an office manager. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Beverly L. Tutterow, Frankfort and Stephanie L. Nelms, GA; her sister Donna J. Black, NC; her grandchildren Tara N. Sweeny, Hunter Nelms, and Devin Norton; her great granddaughter Hannah J. Sweeny; and Mrs. Sobons sons fianc Donna Sobon and Donnas son Leon. She was preceded in death by her son Dwayne L. Sobon. Funeral Information A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel, Versailles Rd. Father Charles Howell will officiate. A visitation will be from 2:00pm until 4:30pm followed by a Christian Prayer Vigil on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
