Doris Jones Mcgohon

Doris Jones McGohon, 83, widow of Charles Lenwood McGohon, passed away, Sunday, September 29, 2019. She was born February 29, 1936 to the late Clarence and Mattie Belle Disponette Jones in Versailles, KY. Doris was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Joey McGohon, Versailles; daughters, Janet (Jeffrey) Brown, Versailles, Julie (Craig) Johnson, Versailles and Jennifer (Greg) Wells, Lawrenceburg; a sister Nita Akers, Versailles; a brother Tom (Rita) Jones, Versailles; grandchildren Justin Brown, Jesse Brown, Dakota Wells, Sawyer Scandore, Brock Johnson, Levi Johnson, Cheyenne Wells and Jessica McGohon; and one great-grandson Porter Brown. Funeral service will be 10:00am, Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill; officiating is Rev. Dave Menser. Burial will follow at Versailles Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
