Dorothy Maxine Avery

Dorothy Maxine Avery, 93, of Lexington, KY passed away May 16, 2018 at Sayre Christian Village. Dorothy was born on December 18, 1924 to the late John and Violet Jacobson Lambie in Galesburg, IL. Aside from her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Robert Avery and 2 sons Robert Alan Avery and Thomas Michael Avery. Dorothy is survived by daughters Pat (Charles) Maynard, Carol (William) Harshbarger and Nancy Avery (Mark Hoover); sister Marilyn Tercek;7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, 601 E. Brannon Rd. Nicholasville, KY from 10 AM-12 PM. Services begin at 12 PM, immediately following visitation.Burial to follow at 1 PM at Lexington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Sayre Christian Villiage.
