Dr. Ivan C. Jurnalov

Lexington, KY Dr. Ivan C. Jurnalov, 83, died July 25, 2017. He is survived by his wife Liliana (Gheorghiu) Jurnalov; son Catalin (Sabrina Carol) Jurnalov; sister Ghinca (Coliu) Kolarova and grandchildren Lilia Rose and Lucian Hall Jurnalov. Dr. Jurnalov received his initial medical degree while living in Romania, but continued his medical practice after coming to the United States, retiring from the Appalachian Regional Hospital after 29 years of service to the people of Eastern Kentucky. He then practiced Primary Care Medicine in Louisville. KY. Ivan was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who was called Bubu. He was known for his interest in current events and politics.
