Ed Spencer
Dec 10, 1951 — Apr 30, 2018
Ed Spencer, 66, beloved partner of Emma Dell Goodlett, Salvisa, KY, passed away on April 30th at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Avery and Lorene Spencer of Clark County. He was a member of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church.
He loved cooking and often surprised others with his world-famous chocolate pie and “Ed’s special burgers”. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his grandson play hockey, entertaining friends, playing cards and fishing with his buddies on Harrington Lake.
In addition to his partner, Ed leaves behind a special grandson, Phillip Maxfield, his very spoiled dog, Ginger, and an enormous number of friends.
A private celebration of his life will be held on May 12th at Chimney Rock Campground. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Harrodsburg, KY.
