Edith Pearl Sowers Mcdonald

Obituary Edith Pearl Sowers McDonald, 82, of Frankfort, died Saturday, November 10, 2012. She was born on March 2, 1930 in Fayette County, Kentucky to Erasmus and Florrie Grizard Sowers. Mrs. Sowers was a retired employee for the Department of Library Archives. She is survived by her husband, Leon McDonald; her daughter, Donna Ponananta of Florence, Kentucky; her sons, Leon McDonald Jr. of Lexington, Jeffery McDonald of Florida, Daniel McDonald of Florence and Steven McDonald of Frankfort; and her sister Margaret Helen McKinney of Georgetown; eleven grandchildren and twenty great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Pamela Hannah, Candy Taylor and Edythe Phillips. Casketbearers are Jeremy Warren, Leon McDonald, Steven McDonald, Tommy Pennington, Jonathon Quire, and Charles Ponananta. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jeremy Warren. Funeral Information Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, November 10, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the funeral home.
