Edna May Wiley, 90, widow of Robert Lewis Wiley, Jr., passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Richmond. She was born on May 5, 1923 in Birkenhead, England to the late Sarah and Frederick Lewis, Sr. She served in the English military during World War II as a mechanical engineer.
Mrs. Wiley is survived by her sons, Robert (Theresa) Wiley of Sadieville, Frederick (Peggy) Wiley of Frankfort, Kenneth Wiley of Lexington and David Wiley of Lawrenceburg; her daughters, Sarah Margaret Wiley Holloway of Richmond and Lillian May Wiley Brezeal of Ravenna; her daughter-in-law, Linda Wiley of Versailles; her sister, Mary Lewis Parker of Frankfort; 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was proceeded in death by her brothers, Frederick Lewis and Ronnie Lewis; and her son, Allen Wiley.
Funeral Information
Services will be held at 6:30pm on Thursday, April 3rd at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. with Rev. Jay Stratton officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
