Edythe Lewis Cable

Edythe Lewis Cable, 88, widow of B. Kenton Cable, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018. The daughter of the late Lela Van Hoose and Walter Sampey Lewis, she was born April 24, 1930 in Franklin County. A member of Versailles Baptist Church, she worked with the kindergarten class and was co-owner of Cable’s Furniture & Appliances for 58 years. She enjoyed boating, golfing, playing bridge, and dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Edythe is survived by her daughter, JoAnne Buss, FL; grandson, Jon (Deanna) Morgan, Versailles; grandson, Zachary Kenton Morgan (Deceased); granddaughter, Tara Ashlay Dunning, Georgetown; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00a, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Versailles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Donations be sent to Versailles Baptist Church Building Fund, 125 E.
