Obituary
Ellen Rae Beach, 91, passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center, Lexington, Kentucky, on July, 25, 2010. She was born January 26, 1919 in London, England, to the late Wilson and Henrietta Rae. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfred Ernest "Ernie" Beach, on July 22, 1988; and by two sisters, Minnie and Hettie.
Following her husbands death, Ellen moved to Kentucky to be with her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Don Havens, who survive her.
She is also survived by her grandson, Warren (Sarita) Havens, Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Toma (Eric) Havens Arms, Danville, KY; and five great grandchildren, Kari, Darrius, Bradley, Gian and Timothy.
A very special thanks to Dr. Rob Hutchinson and the staff at Woodford Family Physicians, her doctors at UK Medical Center, the nursing staff that provided care for her on UK's 7th and 8th floors and everyone from Hospice.
Funeral Information
Visitation will be 1 PM, Saturday, July 31 at Park United Methodist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, followed by a Memorial Service at 2 PM.
Ellen's remains will be taken back to England to be reunited with her loving husband.
