Eric Wesley Bays

Lexington, KY Eric Wesley Bays, 42, died Apr. 11, 2016. He is survived by his mother Debra (Russell Baker) Powers Bays; step-father Roger Walker; brother Antony "Tony" (Natalee) Bays; grandmother Jean Powers; Nephews Kory Bays and Aaron Bays; aunts and uncles Wilma (Jimmy) Webster, Robin (Dwight) Sontag and Nora (Jack) Cheek; special family Susan, Amber and Jessica Young and many loving cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Barry Wayne Bays; and grandfather Curt Powers. Eric was a believer in Jesus Christ. His tender heart led him to help anyone in need; all you had to do is call. His passion was for children and animals, which he willingly adopted into his home. In his quiet time, he liked to fish, go to car races and car shows. Eric's attention to detail made him an excellent auto body man and painter. Funeral Information There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 1-3 PM, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing followed by a Celebration of Eric's Life.
