Pugh, Eural "Reese", 85, of Benton KY., formerly of Lexington and Pikeville KY, husband of Hazel Gertrude Justice, passed away September 7th in Louisville. Born in McVey, KY, son of Ellis "Ed" Pugh and Stella Justice, he leaves behind three sons, Rodney (Karen), Brian (Carol), and Kenneth (Lainie) Pugh, one daughter Marian (Michael) York, nine grandchildren, Alea, Jared, Ashley, Matthew, Amanda, Andrew, David, Artie, and Reese, and five great-grandchildren; 6 sisters, Kathy (Joe) Ratcliff, Ronda Gail, Connie (Larry) Meadows, Glenna Mae (Herschel) Goff, Linda and Judy; 5 brothers, Buren Pugh, Charles (Mary) Pugh, Mancy (Rosemary) Pugh, Mickey (Zee) Pugh and Gary (Joyce) Pugh. He was preceded in death by one son, Ronald (Linda) Pugh. Longtime owner of Eural Pugh Plumbing Co. in Lexington, he served in the Marine Corps.
He loved fishing, wood working, picture frame making. He loved to listen to Bluegrass and Gospel and Classical music in his spare time.
Funeral Information
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11am-1pm, Friday, September 12, 2014 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing with a service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be at Lexington Cemetery at 2:30pm, Friday, September 12th. Pastor Mark Brockman will be conducting the service.
Casketbearers will be Matthew Pugh, Andrew Pugh, Jared Pugh, Reese Pugh, Scotty Taylor, Artie Karnes and David Karnes.
