Obituary Fred Clifton Mattingly, 76, of Lexington, Kentucky and husband of 45 years to Ashley Doolin Mattingly, died Sunday, June 12, 2011. He was born March 9, 1935 in Dorton, Kentucky, son of the late Fred W. and Martha Sawyer Mattingly. In addition to his wife, Mr. Mattingly is survived by his daughters, Vikki Webb, Nicholasville, KY, Jamie Randolph, Wake Forest, NC and Dana Casale, Houston, TX; two sons, Cecil (Tina) Mitchell and Richard Mattingly; grandchildren, Brandy Elliott, Lexington, KY, Sarah Mayolo, Richmond, KY, Rachel Mayolo, Clinton, KY, Devon DeNicola, Houston, TX and Jarrod Randolph, Wake Forest, NC; great-granddaughter, Baylee Kinsey, Lexington, KY; niece, Patricia (Ron) Jernigan, Lexington, KY; nephew, John (Claudia) Mattingly, Lexington, KY; and many cousins and friends who will miss him deeply. Funeral Information A Gathering of Family and Friends will be at 6:30 pm, Thursday, June 16, 2011 to honor Mr. Mattingly's life and legacy. The gathering will take place at his granddaughter Brandy Elliott's house, 669 Winter Hill Lane, Lexington, KY 40509.
