George Thomas Grant

George Thomas Grant, 86, husband of Janice Warner Grant, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026. He was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on June 7, 1940 to the late Ella Clark and William Grant. Mr. Grant was employed by IBM, and was a veteran of the United States AirForce. He also drove a school bus for over 10 years for Fayette county schools. 

In addition to his wife, Janice, those left to cherish his memory include his grandchildren, Austin (Heather) Grant, Cassie Holland; and great grandchildren, Harper and Hayes.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Shawn Thomas Grant; sisters, Lucy Dozier, Mary Grant, Pricella Pembleton; and brother, William Grant.

To honor the life of Mr. Grant, a celebration of life will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 12-2pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with full military honors.
