Obituary
Gloria Wells, 84, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 in Georgetown, KY. She was born April 1, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Francis James and Hattie Hymer Sampson. She was a retired salesperson at F.W. Woolworth.
Gloria is survived by 7 children, Linda (Sonny) Whitson, Falmouth, Henrietta (Carroll) Dobbs, Winchester, Donna Redmon, Georgetown, Julia (Jerry) France, Richmond, Darleen (Bill) Dennis, Nicholasville, Terry (Kim) Wells, Danville, and Rick (Linda) Wells, MI; 2 sisters, Jacquelyn Rader, OH and Donna Schwartz, GA; 2 brothers, Frank Sampson, OH and Leo Sampson, Georgetown; 20 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren
Funeral Information
Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Clark Legacy Center. Funeral Service will be 11 am, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Clark Legacy Center with Chaplin Lori Casey officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
Serving as Casketbearers will be Jim Hager, Jr., Harold Caudill, Jr., Adam Chandler, Ronnie Maxwell II, Sean Sampson, John Chandler, Jim Pulliam and Tom Sands.
Honorary casketbearer will be Matt Eaton.
