Gregory Louis Grisolia

Gregory Louis Grisolia, 71, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018. A native of New York City, New York, he was born August 7, 1947 to the late Louis and Amelia Sarracco Grisolia. Prior to retirement, Gregory was a Scientist Technician for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, but his passion has always been horses. He was a great handicapper, honing his abilities at the racetrack every chance he got. In 2010, Gregory made the move from New York to Kentucky where he would finally be able to live out his lifelong dream of breeding thoroughbreds. For 3 years Gregory’s hard work, determination, and unbelievable sense of humor would allow him to enjoy every moment of taking care of the family farm and its horses. Gregory is survived by his siblings, Cynthia Grisolia, Lucille Friedman, and Louis (Kathryn) Grisolia, all of Versailles; a niece, Nicole Pace; and nephews, Scott Pace and Marshall Pace. Services for Gregory will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Donations be sent to Bluegrass Care Navigators, Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement, or the American Cancer Society.
