Reese, Helen Marie, 67, joined her loved ones in heaven on November 29, 2015. Born in Atchinson, Kansas on July 11, 1948 to Edward Leigh and Wilma Chadwick, both deceased, along with her sister Kendra Chadwick and step father Kenneth Chadwick.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Michele Goltz, sisters Shirley Stallon, Vicky Chadwick, and brother-in-law Dwayne Glass all of Topika, Kansas, granddaughter McKayla Goltz, Uncle Darell Grey of Washington, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Helen moved to Kentucky in 1968 and worked an assortment of jobs from secretary, realtor, and ending with Reese Painting Co., Helen being the only employee. The families she painted for easily became her family as well. She also served as President of the Bryan Station Neighborhood Association, served on the City Flood Committee for several years. After being forced to retire due to health reasons, she enjoyed more time with her border collies, Tippy and Lucy.
With special thanks for all of the help, love, and financial assistance from Jodi and Bill Webb, for transporting her back and forth to the doctor by Betty Gross, and groceries from Catherine and Michelle Tudor.
Funeral Information
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 1008 Delaware Ave, Lexington, KY.
