Henry Houston Parsons

Henry H. Parsons, 86, husband of the late Frances Plowman Parsons, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center. He was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky to the late Harlan and Beaulah Hurley Parsons on July 1, 1933. Mr. Parsons was a veteran of the United States Army and worked at Keeneland Racetrack. He is surived by his sisters, Retha Coy, Lexington, Nancy (Rev. Leonard) Plowman, Winchester and Martha (Lamar) Sparks, OH; and his brother, Amos Parsons, Olive Hill. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his step son, Raymond Lowery; and siblings, Phillip Parsons, Jacob Parsons, Dorajean Parsons, Billy Parsons and Betty Bivins. Funeral Service will be 5:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Rev. William McGraw will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
