Hilda Jean Wheatley

Versailles KY Hilda Jean Wheatley, 52, died peacefully April 5, 2014. She is survived by her parents John and Judy (Meade) Wheatley; daughters Thuy (Eric) Lanham and Lindsey Meade Barger; son Grant Aboytes; sister Leila Kay (Robert) Curtsinger; brother Burns (Mary) Wheatley; grandchildren Madison and Samantha Lanham and the love of her life Jerry Barger. Hilda Jean attended Boone Creek Baptist Church where she love to bring a smile to the different Sunday School classes. She was a very intelligent, charismatic woman who loved to read; especially the classics. As a self proclaimed Lit-snob, she fit in perfectly as a teacher of Language Arts and Spanish. Hilde Jean was a woman who loved. She loved her children, she loved Jerry, she loved her family...and she loved Sonny. She will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral Information There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 5-8 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossings.
