Online Obituaries for Lexington, KY
Hubert Wally Wallace Stratton, III, 46, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017. A native of Lexington, KY, he was born December 5, 1970 to Hubert W. Stratton, II and the late Elizabeth Barlow Stratton. A fantastic football player, Wally was a former linebacker for Tates Creek High School and loved to reminisce about his time spent on the field and his childhood. He was The Grill Master of the family and the BEST uncle, juggling between roughhousing with his nieces and nephews and cooking, Wally loved his family. The kind of happy go lucky guy who was content to fly by the seat of his pants, always offering an Mmmmm, thats good!, even if it wasnt, and putting a smile on everyones face.
In addition to his father, Hubert W. Stratton, II, Wally is survived by his sister, Autumn (Bill) Mitchuson, Lexington; brothers, Jamie Browning, Versailles and Jerome Browning, Georgetown; nieces and nephews, Savannah and Austin Rogers, Andrew Mitchuson, Mary Beth Browning, and Cameron and Lacy Browning; great nephews, Collin and Dakota Wilson, James Browning, and Conner and Colby Brown; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Barlow Stratton and niece, Carolann Mitchuson.
