LEXINGTON- James-Allen Thomas Smith, 47, husband of Gail A. Smith, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018. A native of Lexington, he was born on November 10, 1971 to Eldon T. and Brenda K. Smith. James-Allen loved Jehovah, his family, his neighbors, his friends and especially his wife and sons. He spent most of his life working in flooring and carpet installation. He also worked for Fayette County Public Schools and helped build many Kingdom Halls. In addition to his wife of 27 years and his parents, he is survived by his sons, Austin R. (Alexandria Storey) Smith, IN and Jacob A. (Jacqueline) Smith, Lexington; his siblings, Tema E. (Robert) Smith-Bosken, OH, Jonathan E. Smith, Manchester, Melea J. (Daniel) Peloquin, Lexington, Amariah K. (Jonathan) Leasor, Nicholasville, and Jeshua L. Smith, Lexington; nieces and nephews, Noah and Joshua Bosken, Laurann Smith, Yvette, Emma, and Daniella Peloquin, Ruth, Miriam, and Lydia Leasor and Tyson Smith; along with an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral Service will be 5pm Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Visitation will be from 3pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to offset the cost of the funeral.
