James Samuel Alley

Richmond, KY Richmond - James Samuel Alley, 75, died Mar. 26, 2015. He is survived by his wife Mary Jo (Webb) Alley; sons Mark (Andrea) Alley and Steve Alley; step daughters Gayle, Billie and Debbie; grandchildren Stephanie (Josh) Sparks, Emily Alley and Ethan Alley; step-grandchildren Jason, Kenneth, Katrina, William, Austin and Alyssa. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Addie (Howard) Alley; his first wife Mary Kaye (Rice) Alley and sister Dora Tackett. Jim was very proud of his church family at Flatwoods Christian Church in Waco, KY and Pastor Tim Jones. Having served in the USAF, Jim traveled the world in places such as Guam, Japan, Hawaii as well as stateside assignments. He loved spending time working in the yard and tending his flowers, or working on his truck. But the thing he looked forward to the most, was listening to Mary Jo read the scriptures to him every night. Funeral Information There will be a graveside service at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, at 11 AM. Monday, March 30, 2015.
