Frankfort-James Calvin Ethington, age 79, of Midway passed away Thursday July 3, 2014 at his residence. James was born July 26, 1934 in Midway, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Adelle Wilson Ethington. James was a retired employee of Weisenberger Mills where he worked for 46 years. James is survived by two children James C. Ethington Jr of Frankfort and Anna Marie Ethington of Lancaster, three step children Debbie Evans, and Robert and Junior Wilson all of Frankfort, one brother Leonard Ethington of Shelbyville, KY and four sisters Betty Creech of Midway, Judy Walker of Versailles, Glenda Ethington and Trixie Ethington both of Lexington James is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Besides his parents James was preceded in death by his wife Roxie Rankin Ethington and three grandchildren and the following siblings Joyce Ethington, Danny Ethington, and Kenneth Ethington
Funeral Information
Graveside services for James Calvin Ethington will be conducted at 12 Noon Tuesday July 8, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel in Frankfort, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 10 AM till 11:45 AM at the Clark Legacy Center of Frankfort, Kentucky. Online condolences may be left at www.clarklegacycenter.com.
