James "J.D." Watson

Frankfort, KY James J.D. Watson, 74, husband of Ann Watson, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017. Born in Shelby Co., KY on March 21, 1942 to the late Marvin D. Watson and Mary Meadows Watson. James was a retired line technician for IBM, and a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Teresa (Ken) Lewis, Frankfort; son Scott (Shana) Watson, Frankfort; sister Marilyn Nutgrass, Lawrenceburg; brothers Lynn R. Watson, Frankfort; Richard Watson, Florence; grandchildren Sarah Lewis (Patrick) Webb; Audrey C. Lewis; Danielle R. Watson; and Addison P. Watson. Funeral Information A celebration of life service will be held 7:00pm Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev. Todd Lester will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 4:00pm until the start of service at the funeral home.
