Jamil R. Gazala, 98, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. He was born 1919 in Mosul, Iraq to the late Rizikalla Gazala and Taqla Halbia. He is survived by his wife, Jorjet Palues; children, Jane Gazala, Jehan Gazala (Maher Rassam), Jodat “Joe” (Ellen) Gazala and Janan (Azhar) Ghazala; sister, Josephine Ballou; brother, Joseph Gazala; grandchildren, Lina Ghazala, Rana Ghazala, Sarah Gazala, Linda Gazala and Reem Rassam.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Friday, August 31, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 AM, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Cathedral of Christ the King with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. A lunch will be provided after the Graveside service at Hehman Hall at Christ the King.
