Jason Ronald Shade

Jason Ronald Shade, 43, husband of Taylor Papania Shade, passed away on April 14, 2026 in Lexington. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on April 6, 1983 to Ronald and Jodi Rymer Shade.

Jason did not know a stranger and will be remembered for his kind, generous heart. He cherished his family and friends and will be forever loved.

He is survived by his wife, Taylor Shade, daughters, Thompson Shade and Logan Shade, his parents, Ron and Jodi Shade, sister, Jessica (Michael) Gillespie, nephews, Isaac Disimile and Noah Disimile.

In honor of Jason's life, a service will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026 1pm at Southland Christian Church - Nicholasville.  A Gathering of Family and Friends will follow that same day from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Jason to:  The Lexington Rescue Mission.
