Jeannine A. Pool, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She was born in Shelby, Michigan to the late Warren and Margaret Burmeister Sanford on April 11, 1940. Ms. Pool worked as a registered nurse for Butterworth Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a member of the Cathedral of Christ the King in Lexington and St. Roberts of Newminster in Michigan. Ms. Pool enjoyed playing the piano from an early age, and enjoyed playing piano and dancing all of her life. Ms. Pool was an active member of the AA and Al-Anon organization and volunteered with the Women’s Resource Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She loved spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and dogs, especially her equestrian time with her daughter, Vicki. Ms. Pool is survived by her daughter, Victoria (Kevin) Warren, Lexington; her sons, Stephen V. Lankfer and Gregory S. (Patrice) Lankfer, both of MI; her sisters, Andree (Wayne) Tanner and Sheila (Pete) Murdoch, both of MI; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Alex) Tingle, Mallory (Grant) Dillingham, Alexandra Lankfer, Joshua Lankfer, Stephanie Lankfer and Benjamin Lankfer; and her great grandchildren, Brock Dillingham, Brooklyn Tingle and Andi Grace Dillingham. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Douglas V. Lankfer and Dr. Lee Pool. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand Rapids AA www.grandrapidsaa.org and the Parkinson’s Foundation www.parkinson.org .
