Jeffrey Lynn Brooks, 61, husband of Janice Rieker Brooks passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018. He was born September 30, 1957 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Robert and Doris Benge Brooks.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Greg Brooks.
Jeffrey was a veteran of the United States Army, he participated in wheelchair games with other paralyzed veterans, he was a member of Friends in Christ Community Church and the Kentucky/Indiana Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans and he enjoyed hunting with a crossbow.
In addition to his wife,he is survived by his children, Jennifer (Pete) Davis, Amy (Derrick Osten) Gill and Bret (Chandi) Brooks; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Levi) Abner, Alyssa (Matt) Holland, Katelyn Gill, Madison Gill, Blake Gill, Alisha Brooks, Connor Brooks, Raydyn Brooks and Viktorya Brooks; great grandchildren, Chase Holland, Samuel and Sadie Abner; sisters Brenda Brooks and Darlene Brooks; brother Robin Brooks; nephew Josh Brooks and a special friend, Rondall Phillips.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Friends in Christ Community Church at 1391 Crenshaw Lane, Nicholasville, Kentucky. www.clarklegacycenter.com
