Jimmie Smith

Jimmie Smith, 82, husband of Ann Smith, passed away on Wednesday, August 08, 2018. He was born on March 16, 1936 in Frankfort to the late Margaret Smith. He retired from the State of Kentucky and was a member of the US Air Force. Jimmie served in the Korean War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Terry Smith, Frankfort, Don Smith, Frankfort, Susan Sams, Frankfort, Timmy Smith, Versailles, Scotty Dunn, Frankfort, Mike Dunn, Frankfort, and Patty Wright, Frankfort; his 14 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate. Serving as casketbearers will be Mike Smith, Hunter Smith, Trey Sams, Justin Pinson, Jason Dunn, and Brandon Dunn. Honorary casketbearers will be Dylan Wright and Tyler Dunn. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until the time of service on Friday.
