Julia Jean (Pogue) May, 89, died October 1, 2014. She is survived by her husband John Morgan May; son John (Luann) May; daughters Cheryl (Tony) Goodman and Patricia May; Sister Marjorie (Charles) Carver; grandchildren Jeremy Wilson, Claudia (Darko) Escobar, Zackery May, Morgan May and Madison May; step grandchildren Tarah (Ott) Rose, Shannon Goodman and David (Brandi) Goodman; great grandchildren William Wilson and Darko Escobar, Jr.; step great grandchildren Sydney and Alex Rose, Jacob Shaffer, Kyle, Kaylee and Kloey Goodman.
Julia was a member of Central Christian Church, DAR and a Gainesway Homemakers. She loved playing bridge and bingo. She enjoyed growing tomatoes and green peppers in her garden and hosting large family holiday dinners. In earlier years, if she wasn't fishing, you might find her in the pool or lounging in the Jacuzzi.
Funeral Information
Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, October 25, 2014, at The Baunta Chapel in The Baunta Building, at Sayre Christian Village Campus, 3816 Camelot Drive, Lexington, KY Reverend Bill Miller officiating
